These holiday properties have both been tastefully furnished with a self contained garden, situated on a working farm with views of Bewl Water, countryside meadows and orchards. This quiet, rural base offers country walks alongside Bewl Water, with fishing, sailing, water sports and activities. NT properties, castles and gardens, Royal Tunbridge Wells and coastal towns of Hastings, Rye and Brighton within easy reach from this beautiful rural base. Shops, pubs and restaurants 2 miles.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

NSH, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Cot. High chair. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Fridge/freezer. Enclosed garden with patio and chairs. Parking (2 cars). NB: Landscaped pond, 50 yards.

  3. This was a lovely peaceful holiday away from it all. Lovely walks in and around the farmland and countryside around Bewl Water. If you need de-strssing this is a place to go. Silent nights, you can see the stars! No sirens during the day - an occasional light aircraft or tractor, but lots of birdsong! June 2011.
  4. We were given a bottle of the farm’s own apple juice on arrival (delicious) and made to feel very welcome. Good walks from Stable Cottage to Bewl Water and around the farm. Great location for exploring the area. We noticed from the visitors’ book that many guests return year after year and we can understand why. May 2011.

  9. This was our tenth or eleventh visit to Stable Cottage. We go there at least once every year to get away from it all. Peace and quiet! No sirens, no traffic noise,no shouting, no-one wanting to fight anyone, no yobs, no drunks. Perfect - just the birds, the sheep and occasionally an old fashioned propeller driven aeroplane and the farm tractor... bliss. You see we live in a London Borough. Oct 2009.

  14. This peaceful cottage on a beautiful working farm is a delightful place for a family or couples to relax and unwind. All places of interest are very easily accessible from this location. At night there is no light pollution which makes "stargazing" an absolute joy. Aug 2007.
