Property Description

These holiday homes, converted from stables, are set within mature gardens and grounds and are finished to a very good standard. A perfect location to explore Cornwall and a short walk away from the coastal path. Set in shared grounds but with their own terraces, these properties have views across open countryside. St Agnes is a quaint coastal village with shops, sandy coves and beaches, stunning walks, beachside pubs serving home cooked food and locally brewed ales. The North Cornwall Coast is minutes away and Porthtowan with its sandy beach is close by, as is Perranporth, a traditional family resort with rock pools, sand dunes, beach bar, surf hire and golf. Newquay is a short drive and has a sea life centre, zoo and family attractions including Creally Adventure Park and Dairyland. Truro, Padstow, St Ives, Fowey, the Roseland Peninsula and Land’s End are all easily reached. Horse riding, cycling, sea fishing, boat trips and kayaking locally. Shop 21/2 miles, pub and restaurant 1/4 mile.

Ground floor: Living room with French doors/dining room/kitchen. Wooden floors throughout. 1 twin bedroom (zip and link, can be 6ft double). Wet room with toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double with Velux and en-suite shower room with toilet, 1 twin with Velux and en-suite shower room with toilet.

Both properties: Oil central heating £20per week. Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot. High chair. Freeview TV. DVD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Freezer. Terrace with sitting-out area and furniture. Shared use of 21/2-acre grounds with lawned area, orchard and badminton area. Barbecue. Parking (2 cars). Cycle store. Welcome pack. No smoking.   6. Everything was just perfect, everything you need is there & lovely with it. Wonderful scenery, plenty of walks, and good pubs for meals. The Victory Inn & the Chiveraton Arms food was wonderful. Situated nicely for visiting everywhere you want to see. We had a really lovely holiday there & would go again in a moment! March 2012.
  7. This cottage was a good choice for us. The cottage was very clean and we had everything we could ask for. The weather was poor so we ended up spending more time in the cottage than we would have liked so it was a relief to be in such a lovely place. The owners were very friendly (although they live on site which can feel a bit like you are living next to them) but they did not bother you and were very helpful if you had any queries. The best bit was each cottage came with its own shed and outdoor shower - great for surf boards and washing down watersport gear. Dec 2011.
  8. Lovely accommodation, the owners were on hand to welcome us make sure we were happy and comfortable with everything. The scones and jam waiting for us were a pleasant surprise and very welcome! It was a real home away from home and I would recommend it to anyone. Sept 2011.
  9. Really nice and new house with a calming garden. Home away from home I’d say. A real nice beach is only a five minutes drive, and shops are not far off for a holiday cottage too. Overall we had a really nice few days. July 2011.

  11. I required a property where me and my adult family could meet to celebrate my birthday. Large bedrooms with en suite were an asset. A modern kitchen, spacious dining area & lounge helped the partying along. The support and help from the owner was exceptional, ensuring not a minute of the break was wasted. June 2011.

We had a wonderful holiday at Wheal Charlotte; the cottage had everything you could ask for, and more, like an area to play badminton, 2 acres of garden to walk in and a separate building where you could just chill. Sit by the fire, watch the telly, have a drink and play table football! We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble - this cottage comes highly recommended - we loved it! May 2011.
