Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. A fantastic cottage in a fantastic location. There were 5 of us there (myself, husband, 3 kids 8,6,2) and there was plenty room for us all. Bedrooms were very spacious and beds very comfortable. Everything needed away from home was in the property and we could not fault it. Directions to the property were good, we had no problem finding it. July 2012.
  2. Excellent, comfortable cottage. Ideal location for walking, and within an easy drive of York and the Yorkshire Moors and coast. We enjoyed having a log fire in the evenings. June 2012.
  3. What a lovely cottage: very spacious and well furnished with great home entertainments. Fantastic setting in Thixendale with wonderful cycling and walking from the doorstep. Beware steep hills! We enjoyed visiting the medieval village at Wharram Percy, Sunday afternoon tea in the Village Hall and great pub meals (5 - 10 miles away). March 2012.
  4. Great accommodation, clean and everything you need. Plenty of space to find a quiet spot to relax for a while too. Lovely little pub too. Loved it all! Jan 2012.
