Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. This is a fantastic cottage in a really beautiful spot. We went with a two year old and two dogs and found the cottage really super for everyone! Would highly reccomend anyone to stay here! May 2012.
  2. We often rent cottages and sometimes can be disappointed but Cefn Bach did not disappoint in any way at all. From the moment we arrived it felt homely and comfortable and it was a joy to return to after our days out walking and sightseeing. It was an easy journey from our home to Cefn Bach with very good directions and we arrived to a warm wood burning stove and a tray of tea and biscuits. I cannot fault the house in any way although my children would have liked to move the table football into the house (is is in an adjoining barn so can only be played in daylight)! March 2012.
  3. The property was located in a remote area surrounded by stunning views. There wasn’t a local pub within walking distance, so we took games, dvds and plenty of food and drink. The house had a wood burning stove so we took extra logs. It would be great to go back in the summer and take a bbq to enjoy the outside. The beds were very comfy. The kitchen had all the items needed to cook a roast. For anyone into star gazing, this would be an amazing location. I’ve already sent details of the cottage onto friends and family. Oct 2011.
  4. Fantastic cottage with all amenities. Amazing views, perfect for exploring straight from the cottage. If only you could guarantee the weather as well! July 2011.
  5. lovely location of cottage, although it maybe could have been stated that it was at the end of a steep narrow lane as this may be a problem for some people. I have a people carrier and it was a little daunting to negotiate. However, I would return again. July 2011.
  6. Had a great time. The cottage is in a brilliant location. June 2011.
  7. Beautiful location with wonderful views. Comfortable well appointed cottage. May 2011.
  8. The cottage had extensive amazing views, it was very clean and was like home from home. It even catered for rainy days, i.e. games, tv, books. It is an excellent ’get away from it all’ place. Very peaceful. Sept 2010.
  9. Very clean, tastefully and adequately furnished for the number of guests there. Spacious. Very quiet, very beautiful location. Comfortable beds and good sized bathroom. Very generous with appearance and presentation on arrival. Excellent touch. No owner/ caretaker seen. Aug 2010.
  10. The cottage is in a lovely location and is comfortable. July 2010.
  11. The first thing that struck us was the total silence, no hum of nearby roads, nothing but the occasional tractor, the cry of the kites, buzzards and gulls following it during hay-making. Very rarely, there is, it is true, a jet plane (in fine weather, they train pilots in the area), but this does not at all detract from the real, deep tranquility of the place. It was the most thoughtfully arranged holiday home we ever stayed in. It has everything you could possibly need or more. The dogs were extremely happy there. The walks are excellent, the views breathtaking. The landlady had even placed flowers in little vases around the living area and left a tea tray for us on arrival, much appreciated after a long drive. It was hard to leave! June 2010.
  12. Everything was perfect, location, decor, very well equipped. June 2010.
  13. Well sited off and away from main road, good for peace and quiet, lovely view but with easy access to local amenities. May 2010.
  14. Beautiful and idyllic setting. Peaceful with amazing views, no two days were the same, a lovely relaxing place to be. We loved it. May 2010.
  15. Our third visit to Cefn Bach. Wonderful, comfortable cottage with fantastic views of the Gwydir and Snowdon. Excellent base for exploring Snowdonia. May 2010.
  16. Beautiful views from the cottage, attractive character building, nice modern, clean interior. April 2010.
  17. Character property, sheep in next field. Very well set up with washer-dryer, dishwasher and woodburner. April 2010.
  18. Cosy, well appointed and extremely safe for our dogs. Oct 2009.
  19. Location ideal, views of Snowdon, walks, close to Betws-y-coed; So peaceful, chickens, lambs and donkeys a bonus. Cottage perfect. Sept 2009.
  20. This was our second visit. The property is well furnished and equipped, has character and is in a quiet location with superb views of the Conwy valley and Snowdonia. The host family are delightful. The property is well placed for exploring in any direction. Sept 2009.
