Part of an old brewery conversion amidst beautiful landscaped gardens, including the gardens of Canongate Kirk, it is surrounded by the fascinating Old Town, with many shops and restaurants. Within just a few minutes’ walk are Holyrood Palace and Holyrood Abbey. North Bridge, Prince’s Street and Edinburgh Castle are just a 10-minute walk. Border country easily accessible. Shops 20 yards.

  4. Good neighbourhood, 100 yds off the Royal Mile Good local shops and many eateries. News Agent 200 yds up Royal Mile sells general provisions. 10 mins away a Tesco Express. Nearest bus stop is direct to Royal Yacht Brittania. June 2012.

  6. Wonderful location and lovely property. Once closed in for the night you would not realise you were in the middle of a city. Ideally located for all Edinburgh attractions. Great to park the car up for the week and walk / bus everywhere. So many things to do will have to come back again. Best cottage we have stayed in so far, a real home from home feel to the place.   7. Very good location to visit all attractions in Edinburgh. 35 bus stops just over the road 36 in front of Scottish Parliament just round the corner. Tescos Express is just a short walk away in Holyrood Road. Aug 2011.

  12. Location, location, location....Cross the secluded garden, through the close and you are right on Cannongate which leads up the Royal Mile and to Edinburgh Castle (approx 7 min walk). Everything is right on your doorstep. Even the tour bus stops at the end of the close. Really lovely spacious apartment, very clean and nicely furnished. Very well stocked kitchen if you want to eat in, if not, there are ample restaurants to eat out within walking distance. I would thoroughly recommend Campbell’s Close and we will be booking again.
