Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. A comfortable and peaceful cottage, in picturesque surroundings, well placed for walking. the little garden next to the stream was pleasant for sitting and watching birds. Not a place to book if you want excitement and night life, but ideal for a quiet break. June 2012.
  2. We had a fantastic time and there’s so much to do. We went to several places including Malham, trout fishing at Kilnsley (which was fantastic), Hawes, and Forbidden Corner - Which is a fantastic day out, but you have to book in advance (phone at least the day before). The cafe opposite the car park in Kettlewell opens on Friday and Saturday night as a little Bistro - the food was delicious and well worth a visit. The cottage was a great discovery - it had everything we needed and was ideal for a stay in this beautiful part of the country. The cottage didn’t have a visitors book, so I couldn’t leave all these positive comments for everyone to read! Aug 2011.
  3. Location for a family with children is very good. Kettlewell has all a family would need inc. a playground and the locals are very friendly. Loved the cottage and location by the cam too. May 2011.
  4. Lovely cottage in ideal position, lived up to it’s description in brochure. Everything you would need is in the cottage, only thing missing was the weather which we cannot blame on the owner. Kettlewell is a great base with three good pubs offering good food and drink and good shop all withgin easy walking distance of the cottage. May 2011.
  5. The property is in a beautiful location surrounded by lovely countryside with sheep and cows in the fields, very quiet part of the village. The cottage was very cosy and within walking distance of pubs and shop. We found people very friendly. July 2009.
  6. Lovely courtyard garden next to beck. July 2007.
  7. Attractive views from every window. Aug 2007.
  8. Beautiful place. River running by makes it very special. Aug 2007.
  9. Lovely cottage in a nice quiet location. Oct 2007.
  10. Attention to detail excellent, even to leaving dishwasher tablets, extra toilet roll, spare key, etc. May 2006
