Bryn Uchel Uchaf is a most charming, traditional stone farm cottage dating back to the 1700’s and has the benefit of being recently renovated to a high standard including solid wooden oak floors, two wood burners and a most impressive Inglenook fireplace. Being nestled in the hills above the beautiful Dyfi Valley and beside a mountain stream, the area is rural and peaceful, the only sounds are of birdsong, the mountain stream and the occasional bleating of sheep on the hills behind the cottage. This unique retreat offers breathtaking views across a vast expanse of timeless, unspoilt countryside. The beautiful lounge invites you to spend an evening in front of the fire; watching a film, reading a novel, listening to the eclectic selection of LP’s, or even roasting Chestnuts on the fire. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly want to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable providing maps and even binoculars during your stay. The kitchen diner has the modern, country comforts and is well equipped - sit around the wood burner at the dining table or the comfortable chairs provided and while away the hours chatting about your adventures of the day. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 comfortably and has capacity for more, and has the benefit of a bathroom and separate shower room. The open barn provides safe storage for bicycles and all your outdoor gear. The great private garden of approximately 1/4 of an acre is only overlooked by Red Kites and Sheep! It has an open pit BBQ, swing and a caravan in the garden which is overflowing with a variety of outdoor equipment, including outdoor games, a selection of wellington boots, buckets and spades, Crab Lines and fishing nets, racks for the BBQ, picnic hamper set and cushions for the outdoor seating. There is even wood cutting equipment for replenishing the log basket from the large wood store. There are no bounds to the adventures to be had as there is open access to the mountainside and stream right on your doorstep.

Ground Floor: Property has electric central heating and wood fire burners and comprises:
Lounge: With Free sat TV, DVD and radio and vinyl record player. Large Inglenook fireplace with wood burner; a cosy and well presented room
Kitchen/Dining: With electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, dining furniture and wood burner.
Porch Room: With radiator for boots, shoes and coats, walking sticks etc

First Floor: Bedroom 1: With double bed, rocking chair, TV and video incorporated and Library of books and videos.
Bedroom 2: With 2 single zip-link beds (when put together from a king size bed.)
Bedroom 3: With 2 single bunk beds and additional pull out mattress (for + 1)
Bathroom: With bath and shower attachment, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail
Shower Room: With shower cubicle and dressing area

All fuel, power and bed linen included.

Enclosed garden of approximately 1/4 of an acre surrounding the cottage, open pit BBQ, swing, outdoor furniture, open barn for bicycle storage and log store. Parking for up to five cars.
