Property Description

Brantside is positioned just off the main thoroughfare of the village behind Barclays Bank and is a beautiful example of an end of Victorian terrace. Despite sitting so very close to the village centre. Brantside is surprisingly quiet and bring slightly elevated offers lovely views from most windows down onto the village and across to Loughrigg, Wansfell and the Fairfield Horseshoe - the property has several comfy window seats which are sure to be well utilised for this very reason!
Brantside has been thoughtfully prepared and beautifully ’dressed’ for holiday letting and shows great attention to detail in both the standard of workmanship and the exquisitely chosen fixtures and fittings; the exquisite original period light fittings being just one example. The exposed stone wall in the lounge dining room should dominate the room being such a lovely feature but ones eyes are instantly drawn to the dual aspects windows for more of that spectacular view.

Ground Floor: Property has gas central heating and comprises:
Entrance hallway leading to open plan.
Lounge/Dining room: With gas fire set in feature stone wall, TV and DVD and I-pod docking station with a CD player and radio.
Kitchen: With double oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge with freezer box, washing machine and dishwasher.

First Floor: Bedroom 1: With twin beds and good fell views
Bedroom 2: With double bed, TV and DVD player, fitted wardrobe, vanity unit and great views.
Bathroom: With power shower over bath, wash basin and WC.
A tumble dryer is housed in a utility cupboard on the landing.

All gas, electric and bed linen included. Sorry no cot as we do not feel the property is suitable for young children. Wi-Fi available. Small seating area with furniture provided. Parking via permit on nearby car park for one car. Bicycles cannot be stored inside the cottage.

If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
