  1. A lovely cottage in very quiet stressf ree location. Owners very pleasant and not obtrusive. Cottage didn’t lack anything. June 2012.
  2. Don’t follow your satnav for the last bit of the journey, follow the owners directions. Was very comfortable and well equipped, and spotlessly clean. March 2012.
  3. The cottage was in an idyllic location. No traffic noise and very little noise from the owners who lived across the way. March 2012.
  4. A fantastic cottage. Very good value for money. The owners are friendly and helpful - suggesting days out and places to visit. We had a great time and will definitely be returning. Feb 2012.
  5. Lovely cottage in a great location. Good walking and not far from hay on Wye for antique and book shopping. Cottage was in excellent order Nd the freshly baked cake and flowers on arrival where a lovely touch. Nov 2011.
  6. Very well equipped and comfortable accommodation. Quiet, rural location - need own transport. owner offered all conveniences to make stay comfortable. Oct 2011.
  7. Fantastic cottage, superb views,a real home from home. Quiet location, the cottage was very clean and comfortable. A warm welcome from the owners, with cake and flowers on arrival. Oct 2011.
  8. We had a really good holiday here. The cottage had everything we needed, and the owners were very kind and offered as much information as we needed. We found lovely flowers and eggs in the kitchen, and the owner came to say hello and presented us with a beautiful cake - very welcome after a long journey. The location is very quiet and peaceful yet within easy reach of some lovely places to visit - our highlights were the red kite centre and Kentchurch Court, we also enjoyed Kilpeck Church and Hay-on-Wye. July 2011.
  9. The stunning views compliment this comfortable cottage. A really good location to get out and explore. Plenty of advise from the owners, who were fantastic hosts. The special touches provided by them really helped the whole family enjoy our stay. Local attractions well worth a visit are Puzzlewood and Symonds Yat Rock. The Three Horseshoes public house just a few miles away provided excellent food but was a bit pricey. June 2011.
  10. This is the most fantastic place we have stayed and couldn’t have asked for a cleaner or more welcoming holiday home. So clean and well equipped and beautiful views and surroundings, our only regret was booking a short stay and not a week long holiday. April 2011.
  11. This holiday was without doubt one of the best we have ever had. We were made to feel very welcome from the start. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. (An added bonus as we love cooking) There was loads to do for the children with the animals and walks straight from the front door. The location was ideal for touring the area from whether it was books at Hay on Wye or waling in the block mountains. We even got to see Merlin being filmed in Puzzle Wood. April 2011.
  12. very practicle, warm and comfortable. Feb 2011.
  13. Lovely, spacious cottage, well converted with everything you need in the kitchen etc. Dec 2010.
  14. The property was very clean, very well equipped and we felt at home straight away. We were delighted to find a lovely cake waiting for us. Oct 2010.
  15. Perfect holiday cottage for anyone wanting a relaxed, peaceful break. The accommodation is immaculate and very well equipped and cosy. Lovely welcome and truly stunning location. Oct 2010.
  16. The property was very clean and is maintained to a high standard. If you like being secluded this is the property for you. Sept 2010.
  17. The accommodation was as good as it looked on the web-site. It had all the amenities that it said, and everything was clean and everything worked. Oct 2010.
  18. Very clean. Well catered for young children, e.g. toys, books, highchair, slides. A warm welcome by host which included fresh flowers in the cottage and a homemade cake. Sept 2010.
  19. The property is very secluded, being reached by a long gravel track through woods. Once there, the property has beautiful views over to the Black mountains and seems to offer the best of both worlds in terms of a peaceful, secluded rural retreat and easy access to major towns and cities. Aug 2010.
  20. Everything about the accommodation was excellent, we were given a very warm welcome and everything was explained to us in full. We could walk through fields and a forest just at the back of the accommodation and were given lovely fresh farm eggs whenever we asked. May 2010.
