Halfway between the extremely popular Mont St. Michel and the lovely Dinan, this superbly renovated, large semi-detached stone holiday cottage is situated in a peaceful spot next to a lake.

As well as a splendid, spacious fully fitted kitchen and cosy lounge, there is an en-suite bedroom on the first floor.

You are not far from the coast, the picturesque bay of Mont St. Michel, famous also for its oysters. The beaches of Cancale, and the beautiful Pointe du Grouin are easily accessible and perfect for a day at the sea.

Shop, café/bar and restaurant 1.5km, beach 40km.

Ground floor: Lounge, kitchen/diner. First floor: Bathroom with toilet and basin, 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower, toilet and basin. Second floor: Bathroom with shower over hip bath, toilet and basin, 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin.

Electric heating, woodburner in lounge (initial supply of fuel provided), all other fuel and power included in rent May to Sep, €35 supplement Oct to Apr, bed linen and towels included in rent, cot, colour digital TV, DVD player, washing machine, freezer, microwave, lawned garden, patio, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking. Sorry, no pets. NB: Unfeced lake next to property.

  7. The setting of the cottage was beautiful - overlooking a lake full of wildlife. The rooms were well-equipped and of a good size.   12. The cottage was beautiful, and so incredibly clean and welcoming. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. We spent New Year 2008 with our friends, and it was exactly what we wanted, peaceful, warm and cosy. We loved the wine and flowers as they were a lovely personal touch. Would definitely recommend the property to anyone wanting a relaxing break in the country with plenty around to see and do if you so wish. We were happy to just go for nice walks around the lake and relax after a busy year working. I give this accommodation 10/10. Thank you for a great holiday. Dec 2008.

  14. The cottage was great, very French but with some nice English touches. The location was perfect, it overlooks a lake on a private road so very quiet and no traffic. The patio area faces South West so we had sun from about 9.30 then all day. Sept 2007.
  15. We were made very welcome by the owner. We would definitely go back to this property or any property owned by this owner as we felt that our holiday was made more special by the extras - eg fresh flowers, wine and other supplies left for us as a welcome. The owner also guided us on local attractions and kept in contact with us to check all was okay for us during our stay. We have recommended this property to family and friends. March 2007.
