1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Enjoying a tranquil position in the tiny hamlet of Le Mesnil Girault, close to the larger town of Etampes and just 55km south east of Paris, this attractive, detached holiday home has been renovated and is set in an enclosed courtyard and ample grounds, with a private lawned rear garden.

There is a large lounge and dining room with log fire, perfect for relaxing evenings after a long day out in the city. The delights of the capital are virtually on your doorstep, with easy access by local train, whilst the proximity to Disneyland Resort Paris, 93km makes this a good choice for a family holiday.

Shops and café/bars 7km, restaurant 4km.

Ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, separate toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double leading to bathroom with toilet and basin and 1 twin plus single bed, double sofa bed in lounge (for alternative sleeping).

Electric heating, initial 56kw per week included in rent, remainder by meter reading, colour TV, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, private garden, garden furniture, barbecue, garage for 1 car. One pet welcome. NB: Twin bedroom is accessed via double.

The location of the cottage is great for those looking for a really quiet holiday, and although remote, you are within easy reach of Paris by train from Etampes (1 hour by train) and other places of interest like Chartres, Versaille, Fontainebleu, Eurodisney, Park Asterix etc. In Etampes town (10 mins away) there is a fantastic outdoor pool at Base de Loisirs, a wave pool! Also pedaloes, pony rides, lots of picnic places and woodland walks etc. Very well kept. There is a large Carrefour supermarket in Etampes too. The owner was on holiday when we stayed, however her sister made us feel extremely welcome and explained everything to us in the handover and even left her mobile number in case we needed anything during our stay. We would definitely recommend this cottage to family and friends and will almost certainly stay there again. You get the best of both worlds with the rural location but the easy accessibility to other tourist attractions. Aug 2009.
