You are centrally placed for touring, with Killarney just 20 miles away, and Cork City and Blarney making other possible day trips. Millstreet, 7 miles, enjoys an international equestrian centre and a Country Park. Shop and restaurant 1.25 miles, pub 1.5 miles.

  1. This holiday home is very spacious, excellent value for money, comfortable, in quiet & attractive surroundings with views of fields & mountains. Plenty of parking, you can drive around the outside of the house & easily accessible off of a very reasonable road (not a track). All bedrooms are a good size, plenty of room in lounge, separate dinning room & kitchen (which also has a dinning table). Location is ideal for many trips all over Cork & Kerry & possibly a little further. May 2012.

  7. The house was spacious, which with 3 children and grandparents meant that we were never under each others feet. The fact that it is set in its own grounds meant that we did not have to worry about the noise we made which was great. It was well situated for all the areas of Ireland that we had planned to visit.   12. The pictures did not do the property justice. The house was lovely with fantastic access to fields (perfect for the dog). The caretaker was very helpful. Aug 2007.
  13. The caretaker of the property went out of her way to be helpful and even supplied milk, tea/coffee, bread etc for our arrival - the house was better than expected - we would go back!.....tomorrow. Aug 2007.
