Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. We loved the train passing the property too. The cottage was in an ideal location near Fort William. We had a trip on the Jacobite steam train which was a fantastic trip. We also visited Fort Augustus and had a boat trip on Loch Ness, Inverness and the Ben Nevis distillery. We recommend the Old Station Restaurant at Spean Bridge, very good food and friendly hosts (it’s closed on Wednesdays). Nearest supermarket (Morrisons) and petrol station is at Fort William (15 miles away) although there is a Co-op store about 10 miles towards Fort William. Glenfinnan is a lovely village and we enjoyed the walks from the property. The railway carriage tea room at Glenfinnan Railway Station is well worth a visit - delicious cakes. Also we enjoyed watching the wildlife in the garden every evening - we had a pine marten, bird of prey and deer visit us. Remember to bring your hair dryer as there is not one provided in the property, also good idea to bring dvds and games as none is provided. June 2012.
  2. One of the best locations and accommodation we have stayed at 1st class. Nov 2011.
  3. An excellent location, very clean and well equipped and well looked after. Handy having lunch boxes for packed lunches. Very close to the station for trips. The owners were very helpful when we rang them about the dishwasher. For us it was one of the best holidays we have had for a long time. Oct 2011.
  4. This was a great place for train lovers, the steam train passes past the property every day. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. You could not beat the location. July 2011.
  5. The property was more than I expected, it was clean, modern, cosy, spacious, with all mod cons. I would consider using this property again. The owners were very friendly. Dec 2010.

  8. I recommend this property to anyone who wants to appreciate Highlands. The property was exactly as described on your website, so was the location. I was very happy with the stay and will do it again. July 2009.
