Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Lovely place to stay. We received fresh scones and cream on arrival. would def stay again. Dec 2013.
  2. We visited in October just as the weather began to change all be it quite mild during the day, the evenings had cooled, The cottage is well situated for both coasts and the moor. The cottage was clean and tidy, The bedrooms a nice size with good storage. One double and a twin both with TV’s should you require it, The bathroom had a bath as well as a separate shower so no climbing over bath sides.
The end of the cottage made up the kitchen area which was well equipped and the lounge/dinner all a good space with all the mod cons you would expect including wifi. At this time of the year the heating was in use and the cottage was lovely and warm. The area around the cottage is nice and private with a good space for parking. The owners made you welcome on the 1st day and were on hand should you require them. If you are looking for a cottage away from it all, this is the one, if you need pubs, clubs etc. you will not find them close by. Only down side the phone signal was very weak, but that could be a good thing on holiday..... Oct 2013.
  3. General commentsGood accommodation and facilities - being old and arthritic I would have welcomed a comfortable armchair although I understand why the Chesterfield has been selected for wear and tear ! This is the main reason I haven’t given a 10 on all counts. Excellent hosts and good surroundings. Money well spent and one of the best places we have stayed. Sep 2013.
  4. This little cottage was amazing!! We honestly could not fault it. When we arrived the owners were there to greet us and say hello and there were even home made scones, waiting for us as we entered the property. The location was beautiful too, we saw wild rabbits, birds but to name a few. There were also some nice touches with the games barn & croquet outdoors. We love Cornwall and visit every year , but this cottage made our stay even more special and we created some wonderful family memories too. One thing I would say is be prepared to use a lot of fuel, we drove out most days but it was worth it. Padstow, Bude, Looe, Newquay & Falmouth were a distance but worth the comfort of the cottage when we settled in for the evenings. The Racehorse Inn is the local pub close by and was really enjoyable for food and a friendly atmosphere. We would definitely stay again and recommend for a fabulous holiday. Aug 2013.
  5. Great cottage, great location, friendly and welcoming hosts. All round fantastic holiday. Aug 2013.
  6. Good Points - Excellent secure and private location. Very good accomodation would highly recommend. Bad Points- All the furniture moves on the wooden floor very funny when eating your dinner and the table slides away. Jul 2013.
  7. Absolutely fabulous. Stunning location. Lovely friendly and helpful people. May 2013.
  8. We had quality time in the cottage. It’s nice, clean and cosy cottage at beautiful cornish countryside. Apr 2013
  9. Well located, well furnished, very comfortable and quiet. Mar 2013.
