  1. Absolutely stunning barn conversion with everytning provided for a relaxing break. The owners could not have done more to make us feel at home. Nov 2012.
  2. This an excellent barn conversion, tastefully done and superbly furnished. The rural location cannot be faulted with views to the Snowdon peaks and also the sea, yet it is within 2 miles of Harlech town. The garden is a joy, plus it is a dog friendly holiday home, whilst the owners are a lovely couple and make you feel most welcome. Sept 2012.
  3. Fantastic property, the view from the garden is to die for. Very tasteful & clever barn conversion, I loved it. North Wales is beautiful & as we had the weather to match I can’t think of anywhere else where I’d rather have been. May 2012.
  4. Stunning location, beautiful decor in the cottage and so very clean. There was everything you could possible want in the cottage and more. The owner made some delicious welsh cakes that were waiting for us that were second to none! The beaches nearby were fabulous. We would definitely go back again. April 2012.
  5. Ysgubor is a lovely cottage, comfortable, well equipped tastefully rennovated and decorated. It is ideally located for the coast as well as Snowdonia and there are more things to do than we had time for in the week we were there. We managed to pack as much in as possible with trips on the Ffestiniog railway and to the Snowden summit, the road up to Llanberis (start of the Snowden line) is simply breathtaking! We visited Port Meirion which was fun and only 20 minutes away, we ate in a fabulous Cairbbean restaurant (Caribbean Restaurant and Armoury Bar) in Harlech (less then 10 minutes away, great castle) twice! The Owners made us incredibly welcome, and our 8 year old daughter was able to hand feed the lambs and play with the farm dogs daily which was a massive bonus for her! We had a great holiday and would highly recommend this cottage. April 2012.
  6. The property was delightful. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The owners were friendly and welcoming. I have stayed in several cottages and this is one of the best that I have visited. I would certainly return another year if I decide to visit the area again. March 2012.
  7. Great location ocean and mountain view. Really good cottage. March 2012.
  8. Excellent if you want to get away from it all as it has no broadband or mobile phone signals. Feb 2012.
  9. The accommodation was a pure delight, a home from home and the owners were extremely generous, freshly baked cake, fresh milk & tea-bags and fresh flowers to welcome us. Feb 2012.
  10. Beautiful cottage. Amazing views and it was so cosy by the wood burner. Will hopefully be back again! Jan 2012.
  11. Really nice cottage and location (although time spoiled a bit by bad weather). Cottage overall very clean and very well equipped. Owners couldn’t be more helpful. Dec 2011.
  12. This is a fantastic property, friendly welcome and very high quality. Well deserved gold rating. Dec 2011.
  13. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. The property was very modern and cosy. We loved how quiet it was and the views. Nov 2011.
  14. Excellent on every aspect, we will be returning. Oct 2011.
  15. This lovely cottage was created from an old barn. The layout makes good use of the available space and no expense appears to have been spared to make ’The Barn’ look and feel comfortable and inviting. It is laden with appliances to take the strain out of your stay and has pots, pans, crockery and cutlery to suit every need. ’Ysgubor’s location is ideal for those enjoying the countryside and is ideally located for the Harlech coast and Snowdon. For city dwellers - beware - the shops and restaurants are not 24x7 - but don’t let that put you off this gem! Thanks for a great holiday! Oct 2011.
  16. A beautifully done barn conversion, equipped to a high standard and decorated imaginatively. It really deserves its gold award! The owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We visited Harlech castle, Llandudno, Portmeirion and Penrhyn Castle, and also went on the Blaennau Ffestiniog Railway - all were in easy reach and very enjoyable. The Cemlyn tearooms in Harlech are definitely worth a visit! All in all we had a great time - the weather could have been better, but on our last day the mist cleared and we enjoyed a magnificent sunset from the nearby beach. Oct 2011.
  17. Ysgubor was a real surprise since we honestly don`t expect such high and tasteful standard in Britain (sorry). The cottage gets top marks in everything. And if there had been another shower in the small bathroom, then ....over 100 marks. July 2011.
  18. This cottage is what we were hoping for but never really expected to find. The photographs on the website do not do it justice and Mrs Evan’s warm welcome and unobtrusive management has made all three generations of our family want to return. July 2011.
  19. This the very best cottage we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in many). It is beautifully furnished and decorated with everything you could possibly need. The views looking out over the mountains and Cardigan bay are wonderful. We arrived to the warmest welcome with tea and cakes. The owners are very friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. We will certainly be back. June 2011.
  20. Beautiful, fresh and clean cottage and a lovely friendly family that welcomed us with a cup of tea and left us a home made cake, that was both very welcome and delicious. The views from the cottage were breath-taking both on a sunny and cloudy day. You felt like you had your very own bit of Snowdonia and were in the middle of no-where and yet you were only 2 miles from Harlech. Surrounded by beautifully walled fields of sheep and lambs, a view of the sea and the mountains. The cottage itself was fresh, clean and all fixtures and fittings were of a very high spec. We will definitely be returning sometime in the near future. May 2011.
