With far reaching countryside views Berrington House (refs 24773, 24774 & 24795)adjoins the owner’s home which is situated on the edge of Tenbury Wells. The ancient market town of Tenbury is set on the River Teme and was affectionately referred to by Queen Victoria as ’the town in the orchard’. It provides a range of interesting shops, cafes and pubs whilst Ludlow with its fine eateries and restaurants is only a short drive away. For walkers Titterstone Clee Hill offers spectacular views from its summits or if you prefer a more leisurely stroll there are plenty of country walks through the Teme Valley renowned for its growing of hops and cider apples. The cathedral cities of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester are only a short drive away as are the National Trust properties of Berrington Hall and Croft Castle. All three properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 11 guests. Shop 1/2 mile, pub 1/4 mile.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. Wooden floors throughout. 2 double bedrooms, one 6ft zip and link. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Gas hob. Electric oven. Enclosed garden with furniture. Parking (2 cars).

All properties: Gas central heating and electricity included (£30per week, £20 per short break October-March). Bed linen and towels included. DVD and small library. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher. No smoking.

  1. The apartment was nicely decorated and comfortable but we missed a small saucepan to boil eggs & egg cups. The owners are very nice people and had left us milk, bread and fresh fruit on our arrival, very thoughtful. Tenbury wells is a lovely town, and the location is excellent for visiting the area, eg. Ludlow (Tudor Castle Lodge), Clee Hill (beautiful views), Ironbridge and museums (a must). June 2012.

  4. Fantastic place to stay. Although houses are around it is very quiet. Loved the fact there was no Rules left - making it feel like home from home. Beautiful vases of wild flowers left in all rooms.Would highly recommend a stay here. So well situated for exploring the area and the 2 min walk to the pub was a welcome bonus at the end of the day.   6. Fresh flowers on arrival as well as milk, butter, fresh bread and farm eggs. Owner was most helpful and also allowed us our privacy during our stay, being on hand to sort out a small problem with the new central heating system. Our thanks to Chris and Charlotte for this. Sept 2010.
  7. Location was good with easy access to pubs and restaurants. Nice sized village and interesting tourist sites around. The courtyard in the apartment was useful for drying washing- washing machine but no dryer in the apartment. Not enough crockery and cutlery or a table for us to eat at comfortably. Malvern Hills a must do. May 2010.
  8. A tasteful and stylish apartment. The location is quiet but within close walking distance of town/restaurants/shops etc. The owners could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend! Aug 2009.
