Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The cottage is in a great location with acsess to great walks & a good pub only a minute’s walk away. A parking space is located at the side of the cottage but is only suitable for a small car as acsess is limited. Oct 2012.
  2. Very quiet and peaceful. Great for the local amenities and a good base for getting around. A radio would have been nice for local information, etc. Aug 2012.
  3. Our second visit to Bend or Bump and it has been fantastic each time. Nov 2011.
  4. Walks from the door and the village only a few minutes away rated the cottage a perfect location. The patio area of the cottage afforded panoramic views of the hills beyond. June 2011.
  5. This is a wonderful historic property with lots of charm and a great location. Lots of information on hikes in the area. Having more about the history of the house would be great...and we REALLY wish there had been towels! We loved having breakfast on the patio in back - beautiful views of the fells, sheep, and roaming chickens...April 2011.
  6. A cosy cottage with lots of character. Bring your own towels, they don’t supply them. A patio table to go with the 2 patio chairs would be nice. April 2011.
  7. Very homely feel and fantastic open fire. Isolated enough for a quiet break yet only a minutes walk from local ammenities. Perfect. Feb 2011.
  8. This cottage is exactly as described and just what we wanted! Quiet, remote enough and yet just round the corner from shops and pubs.
