At Croyde and Woolacombe are some of the best surf beaches in the country with many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor is a short distance away with spectacular views. There are NT properties at Arlington and Knightshayes and the RHS gardens at Rosemoor. From the harbour, there are fishing trips or excursions along the dramatic coastline and boat trips to Lundy Island. Golf nearby. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 800 yards.
