Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Lovely comfortable cottage in a quiet location very handy for visiting great places as well as fairford airshow. Some aircraft noise from Brize Norton airfield but we enjoyed that element and it didn’t detract from a lovely place to stay. June 2012.
  2. Very comfortable quirkey cottage, fitted out with all you would require, pint of milk in fridge plus bottle of wine on kitchen table. Dogs made welcome with fresh water and doggy treats upon arrival. Would book this cottage again. March 2012.
  3. This cottage was cosy and everything we asked for. The area around was full of public footpaths and all linked up over miles of countryside. The RAF base down the road wasn’t particularly a distraction, and apart from the odd flight here and there was relatively quiet. There was a supermarket and other shops connected with base but are all part of the town as well and most things can be sought from here. Overall I highly rate this cottage if you want the cosy cottage in a small village with lots of countryside to walk in, plus its not far from the motorway so can be accessed quite quickly. Oct 2011.
  4. A wonderfully comfortable and beautifully furnished cottage. Very well equipped and a great location for exploring the Cotswolds. May 2011.
  5. It is a lovely quirky old cottage with all the right furnishings to make you feel at home. Feb 2011.
  6. Very good for dog walking - good choice of local walks. Good pubs locally that take dogs & serve good food. Sept 2010.
  7. Lovely, well-equipped cottage. Aug 2010.
  8. Lovely quiet area, excellent for dog walking. Owners very friendly but not intrusive. Cottage extremely well equipped and furnished in an old-fashioned, farmhouse style with quirky touches such as an abundance of soft toys, games, dvd’s and books on the area. July 2010.
  9. Full of character, cosy and very well equipped and in a lovely setting. April 2010.
  10. Traditional feel, well equipped - the owners had thought of everything - even towels for the dog! Very nice property. March 2010.
  11. The cottage appeared to be very old and the owners had retained the old fashioned charm of the property. Dec 2009.
  12. Very clean and had everything we needed like going from home to home. Nov 2009.
  13. They’d thought of everything! Oct 2009.
  14. We were very impressed with the standard of the property and the lengths that the owners had gone to to make it feel like home. Feb 2009.
  15. Don’t be put off by the proximity to Brize Norton, there were very few planes overhead each day and we actually found them very interesting. The cottage was much bigger than expected and the decor was very genuine and comfortable. May 2009.
  16. Just loved this cottage - very comfortable and eclectic decor - felt at home immediately. Beautiful surrounding area and lovely walks. Well-provisioned and owners extremely helpful. Have already booked another weekend in October! Feb 2008.
  17. Home from home, couldn’t have asked for more. Oct 2008.
  18. We love this cottage and will keep coming back - great accommodation, fab location, dog-friendly and we had THE best weather. Owners are great too! Aug 2008.
  19. The accommodation was very good, my only adverse comment is the information in the accommodation was a little out of date. IE we were told that the nearest pub was closed on Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening so we had to go to the next village, when in fact it was open. Other than that very good! Oct 2007.
  20. The accommodation was quintessential English country cottage. Loved it! The owners were more than accommodating! They put a note through the mail slot with the phone number of the restaurant where they were dining our first night, in case we needed them!! Nov 2007.
