It is less than a mile from Hadrian’s Wall and a short drive from the M6 at Carlisle. A short walk takes you to the ancient church and ruins of Lanercost Priory and to Naworth Castle. The small market town of Brampton and Talkin Tarn Country Park are both two miles away. The location is ideal for exploring the nearby border city of Carlisle, the spectacular English Lake District, the less touristy North Pennines AONB, the Scottish border and Gretna Green. Shops, pubs and restaurants 2 miles.

All on first floor: Living room with 3 steps up to dining room/kitchen. 1 twin bedroom (zip and link, can be 6ft double on request), with additional sofa bed (for child). Shower room with toilet.
