Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The most relaxing holiday In years we loved it the dogs loved it great pub in Appleby that we could take 3 dogs into. The owner was very charming and helpful. Dec 2012.
  2. Lovely cosy cottage, good location for walking. Owner very friendly and helpful rearding where to walk with the dogs. Would reccommend. June 2012.
  3. The cottage and location is lovely, as are the (presumably) owners who are helpful but leave you in peace. There is plenty of space for dogs to run in the meadow outside the garden. The garden is not escape proof. Note that the property is adjoining the owner’s home and has a shared garden which it doesn’t mention in the description. This didn’t spoil it for us, but we would generally chose a cottage not next to the owner’s property and with a private garden. But all in all a lovely place to go. May 2012.
  4. Cottage was perfect for us with allowing three dogs. The owner was very hospitable and made us feel welcome. May 2012.
  5. The basic requirements (cooking oil, salt, pepper, washing up liquid etc) were in the cottage on arrival, also fruit and flowers, which was very welcoming. It was a cosy, warm and comfortable property with very comfortable beds. We were sorry to leave. Dec 2011.
  6. Lovely cottage, a great location for exploring. If taking dogs, be aware that the garden is not completely secure. Aug 2011.
  7. Cottage lovely and comfortable, ideally placed to visit Dales and the Lakes. Ullswater Steamer excellent value for money, Wensleydale Cheese Factory is worth a visit. Lovely walk across field to Appleby and through woods round river. June 2011.

May 2011.
