1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

This magnificent detached property has a stunning location overlooking the beautiful sandy beach of Duncannon, with a spiral staircase to the beach. Attractively decorated and extremely comfortable, with wonderful views of the beach and sea from all rooms, it forms a secluded romantic holiday retreat. Duncannon Fort and the castles of Dunbrody and Knights Templar are within easy reach. Excellent scuba diving at Hook Head (7 miles). Beach fishing available on site. Next door to High Tide (ref YPM). Shops 500 yards.

Ground floor: Living/dining room with tiled floor. Shaker-style kitchen. First floor: 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet. Second floor: 2 double bedrooms. Shower room with toilet. All bedrooms with wooden floors and built-in wardrobes.

Oil central heating and electricity by meter reading. Bed linen and towels included. Travel cot and high chair on request. Digital TV. DVD. CD. Microwave. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer. Patio-style garden with furniture. On-site beach fishing. Parking (3 cars). NB: Garden overlooks the beach, young children need supervision. Drops in grounds and to beach.

  3. This was our 3rd visit to this property which speaks for itself! The house is beautiful with a fantastic view. The owners and villagers are incredibly welcoming and it’s heartbreaking leaving. There are 2 pubs very close by which both serve excellent food and are child friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this property even when the weather is bad, as it was for us this last visit, as it’s a joy and you will leave completely relaxed looking forward to your next visit.   4. This was our third visit to the Beach house so we think that says it all. Oct 2011.
  5. The house is perfectly located on a beautiful beach. Be aware that the spiral staircase to the beach is not accessible to dogs so you have to lift them over a small wall to access the beach from the sand-dunes. Both pubs in the village are nice and friendly, but if you have dogs you will have to sit outside as they both serve food. The area is stunning and I loved taking lots of photos, we even got to swim in the sea and were joined by a seal! Finally, make sure that you take some Euros with you as there is no ATM in the village and we arrived late on Saturday so couldn’t get food without cash. A welcome pack of food as an optional (payable) extra would be useful. Sept 2011.
  6. The accommodation was 1st class from the moment we were met by the owner to the time we left - we could not ask for more. Everything we needed was catered for and the property is situated in an excellent location to where by you can appreciate every season. Feb 2011.
