Property Description

This comfortable end but one terraced house is in a picturesque tranquil village, once a Tudor port and smuggling venue. Next to Budleigh Salterton (World Heritage Jurassic Coast), with its unspoilt promenade, large pebble beach, red cliffs and fishing boats. Wide sandy beaches are found at Exmouth. Overlooking thatched cottages and lane leading to Sir Walter Raleigh’s Tudor homestead. Walk from the cottage to Woodbury Common, Bicton Gardens, the Otter Estuary Bird Reserve, Otterton Mill and restaurant and the coastal cliff path. Children’s adventure parks, boat trips, historic houses, fishing and golf are close by. Shop 330 yards, pub 165 yards.

Ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin, 1 single. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Central heating October-April, £20per week, £15 per short break. Gas fire, electricity and bed linen included. Towel hire. Travel cot. High chair. Freeview TV. Video. DVD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Fridge/freezer. Wi-fi available at £5 per week. Enclosed front garden and patio. Parking (2 cars). No smoking.

  20. The property worked really well for our family (children age 11-16). We took our bikes and were able to cycle easily to three different beaches 2.3 miles,2.4 miles and 6 miles (mostly off road). The village is quiet with superb facilities, swings, village shop with local produce, football field, tennis court, smallholder selling his produce and thriving church. Also good neighbours! April 2009.

If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
