A beautifully appointed Victorian cottage, one of a pair, in the unspoilt Warwickshire village of Alveston, Bay Tree Cottage offers a fabulous holiday location for exploring the area. Just a short walk from the River Avon and about 2 miles from the historic market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, guests can leave their car behind and visit all the attractions of Shakespeare’s Stratford on foot (a 40-minute walk). Only a 15-minute minute walk from the village of Tiddington. Shop ½ mile, pub 100 yards.

  6. We were delighted with Bay Tree Cottage. It has been decorated very tastefully (country cottage with a modern twist). Our dog was made to feel welcome too and the beautiful garden was very secure for her. Alveston is only a five minute drive into Stratford. If travelling to that area again we will not stay anywhere else. Highly recommended to all our friends and family. July 2011.
  7. The house is ideal for a family, with a lovely kitchen diner. The village location is quiet but a short 5 minute drive takes you into Stratford and 10/15 minutes to Warwick. The Ferry pub is less than a minutes walk away and serves excellent food, the Baraset Barn is a 5/10 minute walk away and is a very good restaurant. We also enjoyed Jimmy Spices Buffet in Stratford for an excellent meal, and excellent value. April 2011.
