Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. We stayed at Bay House for my fathers 60th birthday as a family. The house was so comfortable and had a really homely feel to it. We all immediately relaxed to the environment and settled in quickly. There was a lot of entertainment available such as games, music and films which was great due to the poor weather conditions during the stay. Some of the interior was a little dated however this was not an issue for any members of the family - if anything we all commented how homely this actually made it. Location wise the cottage was perfect - it had the most amazing restaurant immediately opposite and was easy to drive to coastal locations. Little touches left by the caretakers was also lovely (welcoming tea tray, biscuits, chocolates, milk and juice), and also the lovely letter to introduce us to the cottage. I also left a pair of shoes there by mistake, these were posted on to me at home speedily and without request (thank you Carol). We couldn’t have chose a more welcoming, friendly cottage and would certainly go back. July 2012.
  2. Well located for access to all natural history/birdwatching sites in North Norfolk. Is also located opposite a very good pub/restaurant which serves good food at reasonable prices. March 2012.
  3. The caretakers had made a real effort to make the cottage special for the children, such as putting cuddly toys around. We loved all the toys and games provided too. It was a lovely touch to have a basket of chocs for us on arrival, and tea/coffee and biscuits. Cottage had everything possible available - we didn’t hardly need to bring anything ourselves (except food!) July 2011.
  4. It was exactly as described. Extremely well equipped. Very comfortable & clean. I would recommend this cottage to anyone! Jan 2011.
  5. Roomy, comfortable, family friendly. Jan 2011.
  6. Very welcoming. The cottage was very well equipped and we felt relaxed and very comfortable. The welcome pack was much appreciated, especially the bonio for the dog! Oct 2010.
  7. This is an old property that we have visited many times. It is comfortable and has recently been re-decorated. We enjoy the property and the area, so much of interest is in easy reach. Oct 2010.
  8. This property was spotless and very welcoming as soon as you get through the door. it has everything you need and more, the local is just a stones throw away which is great when you do not feel like cooking. Sept 2010.
  9. I liked the way the property was laid out. July 2010.
  10. Comfortable, well-equipped. Good location for visiting North Norfolk area. June 2010.
  11. A fab house, loved the way you could go right round in a loop from inside door, through lounge, dinning room, kitchen then back to the door. Biscuits, tea, coffee, milk and juice and biscuit for dog and lovely letter welcoming us was a great start. March 2010.
  12. Relaxing, un challenging by which I mean the equipment and house hold is neither difficult to use or understand. Not too modern to be cold or unfriendly but all the facilities one needs. Feb 2010.
  13. The house was spacious and extremely well-equipped. The welcome note and little touches, e.g. dog bowl with water and dog biscuits, tea and coffee, milk and orange juice for us, and fresh flowers, was much appreciated. Oct 2009.
  14. The lay out of this property, size of rooms, clean and tidy and a warm welcome make it an excellent place to be. Sept 2009.
  15. A warm welcome, fresh flowers in all rooms, fully prepared tea tray, milk, biscuits, orange juice, and a very informative note. Everything you could want for a comfortable stay in the cottage was provided. Aug 2009.
  16. Spacious accommodation. Excellent base for exploring North Norfolk coast. Would definitely return. July 2009.
  17. The website does not show off the property to it’s full potential. June 2009.
  18. The cottage was welcoming and the garden was a lovely location to soak up the sun and very dog friendly. Only disappointment was the local pub was restaurant with odd opening times. Aug 2009.
  19. A wonderful cosy home from home. The welcome tray was very much appreciated - as was the Bonio for the dog. Very tasteful Christmas decorations and fabulous tree. Ideal location to explore the surrounding area. Dec 2008.
  20. The welcome received at this property is better than any other we have known. This was out 10th visit, always in the autumn, when the weather is ’mixed’ so we dress accordingly. We had another excellent holiday this year. Oct 2008.
