Customer Comments

Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The cottage is in a very quiet location which suited us, it is very comfortable with all mod cons - highly recommended. June 2012.
  2. This is an excellent property with major Devon and Cornwall attractions readily accessible. The view from Timberway is good and even your mobile will work. The owners are "around" but not intrusive which just how we like it. The wood burning stove is easy to tame and means (with a bottomless pit of seasoned wood) that off season the cottage is exceptionally cosy and warm. March 2012.
  3. The first thing you appreciate is the wonderful view. Well fitted-out accommodation - good-quality furniture- everything you could need for a self-catering holiday. Oct 2011.
  4. When you find the way, persevere along the lane, even if your Sat Nav says " you are here" keep going!! Everything about our holiday was good, with a stunning view over green Devon valleys to the escarpment of Northern Dartmoor. Sept 2011.
  5. Relaxing, good view, excellent facilities, the owners were very helpful. Aug 2010.
  6. Impressive views, quiet location, property was small but felt comfortably spacious and had character but with a modern presentation. June 2010.
  7. The overall outlook, external appearance, and internal facilities were par excellence. This indeed must be Utopia, ranquillity, outstanding views, and hospitality were beyond belief. Others have also commented similarly in the indoor visitors book. The host were magnificent, and nothing was too much trouble. May 2010.
  8. A beautiful warm and cosy cottage which had everything we needed. The views were spectacular. Well worth a visit. Sept 2009.
  9. Beautiful location, well appointed accommodation. June 2009.
  10. Beautifully presented, very clean, owner was very friendly. Everything we needed, great base for exploring all of Devon. June 2009.
  11. The cottage was excellent & had all mod cons. The view from the garden over the downs exceeded all expectations, and the owners were very friendly and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. We can recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a holiday in this secluded part of Devon. May 2009.
  12. The property is located on a hill over looking valleys and across to Dartmoor. The property itself is high standard, clean with modern essentials and a cosy log fire for those colder days. The surrounding area is very peaceful. A lovely property in the peaceful countryside, with stunning views. It was clean and well equipped with modern essentials. A cosy log fire for those wet/colder days/evenings. We will consider staying at this property again if intending to visit the Devon area. July 2009.
  13. A beautiful cottage, really well appointed and a friendly welcome. We would definitely come here again! Aug 2008.
  14. This property is worthy of a gold award. June 2008.
  15. A lovely cottage in a rural location with excellent views. Aug 2008.
  16. Property as described on the website. On arrival at the cottage the owners had left us a bottle of wine, chocolates and a welcome card... a lovely touch. The owner was there to meet us on arrival and nothing was too much trouble for her, she even lent us some of her own wine glasses for New Years eve. The location of the cottage and the views were fantastic, would be nice to experience it in the summer. Nothing negative to say about the cottage or the holiday. Dec 2008.
