Grizedale Forest is within easy driving distance with a wildlife and visitor centre, concert theatre and cycle trail. Other nearby attractions include Sizergh Castle, Holker Hall and Steam Railway, which makes this suitable for all year round holidays. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.75 miles.

Ground floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 bunk. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. First floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. Steep open-tread stairs to gallery area.

  9. The cottage was in a lovely location and the facilities in the cottage were to a very high standard. The owner of the cottage was very helpful and the we really appreciated the tea, coffee and milk that was there on our arrival! There was lots of information in the cottage about local attractions and nearby Grange-over-sands was lovely. We had an excellent holiday and would definitely stay in this cottage again. May 2009.
  10. Weather was overcast but mainly dry. Area around Lindale is beautiful and the local ammenities were brillient especially for a small village. The accomodation was wonderful and the newly installed kitchen was perfect. Contact with owner reference keys etc was easy and all questions answered. Our stay was very relaxing and comfortable with lots to do in the local area. Thank you to the owner and your company for making the booking process easy and our stay brilliant.   12. The property had just been refurbished and was really of an excellent standard. The owner was very helpful even suggesting places to eat nearby and the pub was just over the road. We will definitely be returning! March 2008.
