These holiday barn conversions are situated on the owners’ quiet hill farm and enjoy rolling views over the valley in the Staffordshire moorlands. With walks from the doorstep, Bank Top Farm Cottages are the perfect place in which to relax and unwind. Stable View (ref B4436) is semi-detached and Arches Cottage (ref 27651) stands as one of a row. By car, the Peak District can be reached in 10 minutes and Alton Towers in under 30 minutes. Cheadle is also within easy reach, as are the small pottery towns with museums and factory shops. Other places to visit include the Wedgewood Visitor Centre, Shugborough Hall (NT) and the railways of Churnet Valley, Foxfield and Rudyard Lake. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Ground floor: Living room with beams and sofa bed (for alternative sleeping)/dining room. 6 steps down to kitchen with tiled floor. 1 twin bedroom. Separate toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 bunk, both with beams. Shower room with toilet.

CD. Electric cooker. Washing machine. Fridge/freezer. Ample parking.

Both properties: Gas central heating and electricity included (£50per week, £30 per 4/5 nights, £20 per 2/3 nights September-October). Bed linen and towels included. Travel cot. High chair. Freeview TV. DVD. Microwave. Shared lawned garden with sitting-out area and furniture. Shared 2-acre natural grounds. Cycle store. Welcome pack. Pet free of charge. No smoking. Friday to Friday.

  1. This was a lovely cottage but we stayed when there was snow and found the property cold. This should not put people off because we had a really good time and it was rather freaky weather - spring and summer would be beautiful there and we will certainly go again. March 2012.

There was no bath which we weren’t aware of, but luckily our daughter was old enough to have a shower with us. The views were fantastic and there was a great pub down the road. Would recommend.   5. Thoroughly enjoyable 2 night stay – 2 adults & 4 teenagers. Fabulous cottage which has great accommodation and is in a fabulous location. Really well positioned for Alton Towers; Trentham Gardens; Waterworld etc. Owners very helpful and accommodating. The cottage has all you need to cook & feed a family and a really comfortable place for a night in after a busy day. Highly recommended! June 2011.
  6. I booked this cottage for a mature hen weekend with five of my friends. The cottage and facilities were fabulous and the view was stunning. We had the perfect holiday. The owner was very helpful and she went out of her way to make sure we had a superb time. I would definitely go back, perhaps I’ll take the new hubby! May 2011.
