Property Description

This well presented detached holiday bungalow is located on the edge of Minehead at the foot slopes of Exmoor. The property is ideal for exploring Exmoor but has all the amenities of Minehead within easy reach. You can get up on the moor within a minutes drive or a short walk. There is plenty to see and do including the stunning coastline between Minehead and Combe Martin, the historic clapper bridge at Tarr Steps and the National Trust properties at Dunster. Other local attractions and activities include West Somerset Railway, horse riding and mountain biking. Shop, pub and restaurant 1/3 mile.

Gas central heating and gas included (£20per week November-March). Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot. High chair. Digital TV. DVD. CD. Gas hob. Electric oven. Microwave.   1. This is a very well equipped property, spacious and comfortable a real home from home. The location is perfect for walks on Exmoor and close to Minehead so all members of the family, (teenagers!) dogs and parents were happy. We hope to visit again as this has been our best cottage to date. Oct 2012.
  2. Parking very good for the property, but the steps up to the (near perfect) bungalow were pretty steep for an elderly person(me), and I was knackered by the time I reached the top!! July 2012.
  3. Fabulous property, only drawback is perhaps the fifteen steps leading up to it! This is mentioned in the property description so you do know before you go and it doesn’t in any way detract from the overall quality of the property. It is exceptionally clean with everything you could possible need for a quiet and relaxing stay. The garden is delightful with many sitting out areas and is peaceful and secluded. A few minutes walk from the property and you are in the woods which makes it perfect if you have a dog. Also the utility room is great for dogs or wet clothes should you be unfortunate enough to experience bad weather. We didn’t and had a wonderful holiday. The beach is a short drive away, as are all the amenities you need. The owners were very helpful and welcoming and I certainly hope to stay there again in the future. May 2012.

  8. Cottage very comfortable and surprisingly big. Lovely garden ideal for the dog. Good dog friendly pub close by. Cottage well equipped with necessities like washing up liquid soap powder toilet cleaner etc which we usually have to buy. Village very nice plenty of shops take aways etc, walking distance to minehead overall enjoyed holiday very much. Well done to the owners. May 2011.
