Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. A good central location for travelling throughout the highland area. Killin is a village with essentials available locally, local post office, tea rooms, pubs, bike hire, canoe hire, co-op shop open late (10pm), playing field with children’s play area, library. The closest National Trust for Scotland property is in walking distance, even though small, always a pleasent visit to see restoration progress, volunteers always friendly and informative. Former railway line is now a footpath and a pleasant walk from the waterfall through to the loch and ruined castle. ’Killin News’ newsletter is informative on local groups in the area, walking group or playgroup for children. Property backs onto farm fields and hillside, the view from the top of the garden towards Loch Tay and Ben Lawers is wonderful. Owner of property runs a cafe in the village and totally recommend it for a pop in break. Return visitor because we like the location and property. May 2012.
  2. Location of the cottage was good - if weather had been on our side walking would have been great because you did not need to use your car. We visited many places i.e. Pitlochry, Kenmore, Aberfeldy, Inveraty Loch Lomond, Callender and St.Andrews - Blair Castle, Inverary Castle and Jail were a must. Sept 2011.
