Each has its own garden area, and nature trails can be enjoyed through the grounds, with abundant wildlife such as badgers, foxes and otters. Close, easy access to the Camel Trail which leads to the fishing port of Padstow (15 minutes’ drive), with bicycle hire, beaches, shops, inns and restaurants. Wine tasting 1 mile away. Bodmin Steam Railway 10 minutes’ drive. Golf and riding nearby. Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, 25 minutes’ drive. Spa, gym and swimming pool 5 minutes’ drive. Enjoy fishing onsite (permit required). Shops 2 miles.

  12. It was in a beautiful setting. It seems you’re miles from anywhere but in fact you are 10 minute drive from Wadebridge and the Camel Trail is at the bottom of the very large garden. March 2010.

  19. Badgers Holt was a fantastic holiday cottage. It had great views and the owner was really welcoming and friendly. It is situated in a quiet, rural area yet it is easy to access quite a few of the major attractions in Cornwall. Newquay was just 30 minutes away and the Eden Project was only 15 minutes away. All in all it is definitely an ideal cottage for relaxation and it provided me and my partner with many happy memories. Jan 2009.
