Property Description

This delightful adjoining stone cottage enjoys a lovely setting, just off the village green, in this quiet, unspoilt area of the Cotswolds. Kingham is a charming historic village, enjoying the accolade of being England’s favourite village by Country Life magazine. The interior is very comfortable and well-equipped, yet retains much of the character of bygone days. The property makes an excellent holiday base for touring and enjoying the many and varied places of interest in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Burford and Chipping Norton are all a short distance and beautiful Stratford-upon-Avon is easily accessible for the day. The university city of Oxford, Blenheim and Cheltenham are within one hour’s drive. Shop 300 yards.

The stairs are extremely steep with narrow treads, so the cottage would definitely not be suitable for someone with disabilities. June 2012.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
