  1. We had a lovely family Christmas in this very quaint and cosy country cottage. The little gifts left for our arrival bought a smile to all of our faces, even the dog had a treat! The bedrooms are very comfortable and surprisingly spacious as it is a ’little’ cottage. It is ideal for for families, pets and couples and the open fire is a great bonus. The location is idyllic but still within easy reach of Oxford etc. Thank you for a lovely stay. Dec 2012.
  2. Adorable little cottage close to stables and open fields with very helpful hosts. Kencot is picture perfect and we enjoyed a very relaxed and happy weekend. May 2012.
  3. This property is so cosy and quaint, noting has been faked up to make it look old yet it has everything you need. even if the weather was poor it is the kind of place that you could happily switch off with a good book or too. I would recommend this property in Autumn, winter or spring as the living room fire is so lovely and easy to clean too. March 2012.
  4. The perfect place for a relaxing getaway; quiet, comfortable and in the middle of the country, yet with cities close by. Everything was provided to make us feel at home and it was the perfect way to introduce our kids to the English countryside. July 2011.
  5. Hi. The cottage that we four stayed, was cosy and well looked after. The owners were very nice and inviting. For a longer stay and a centre to tour the Cotswolds from it would be perfect. Our stay was short but I would recommend this cottage. July 2011.
  6. A lovely quaint cottage, catering for our every need. Lovely garden and friendly people. May 2011.
  7. Property was small but very cosy, and very pretty. With the fire going the house was very warm, despite visiting in Winter, and the house was quite well appointed. March 2011.
  8. The cottage was fabulous. It was small, warm and cozy, just what we wanted. It was a "proper" country cottage - no fancy frills or posh finishing touches to make it look like a city loft, just a down-to-earth proper homely cottage. I specifically booked this cottage to surprise my boyfriend as he loves his military aircraft. The cottage is very close to an RAF base and we had some wonderful views of the planes taking off overhead. Some people moaned about this in their reviews but it was quite clearly written in the overview (that’s what sold it to me!!). Nov 2010.
  9. A charming cottage which was more like staying as a family guest due to all the personal touches. Charming location and great local walks. April 2010.
  10. Cosy cottage with excellent open fire. March 2010.
  11. The cottage was very cosy, small but adequate. We had all we needed, and we had a good week there. The owners were very friendly and helpful. March 2010.
  12. A lovely cosy cottage to visit when the weather is cold/wet. The open fire provided the home from home atmosphere. Logs were freely available. The bedrooms were comfortable and enough linen was available for warmth. Feb 2010.
  13. Very nice cottage, a bit smaller than we expected but all basic things supplied and in a great picturesque area. Dec 2009.
  14. Lovely open fire. Good location despite air traffic. Kitchen not great and could have been better equipped. Oct 2009.
  15. A lovely little cottage in a tiny village. Easy access to all sorts of interesting places from this well presented accommodation. Very friendly owners and everyone we met was pleased to talk to us. Our dog loved it too! July 2009.
  16. Compact and comfortable - cosy living room, well equipped kitchen and two good sized bedrooms. Proper sized bathroom with plenty of space. July 2009.
  17. A good place to stay, comfortable and great for children. Small and compact, but has everything you need for a weekend away. July 2009.
  18. A wonderfully quaint English cottage in an idyllic country setting. Very relaxing. Great countryside to get out an about in. June 2009.
  19. Amazing cottage, every detail thought of by the owners which made our weekend away perfect! Very romantic and a great location. Check out the wildlife park, we loved it! Would definitely recommend this cottage. Feb 2009.
  20. Pure escapism - uncomplicated, beautiful and tranquil. The property effortlessly accommodates for any need or requirement. March 2008.
