These delightful barn conversions (refs 25589, 26477, 26718, 26724, 26725, 26726, 29579 and 29580) maintain many original features and are set in the heart of The Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The properties (except 29579 and 29580) have all received a GTBS (Green Tourism Business Scheme) Gold Award. Within the grounds of the farm, these holiday properties offer coarse fishing on the farm lake, as well as many excellent walks and fantastic views across the countryside. On the edge of the village of North Willingham, the barns provide an excellent base for exploring. Just 3½ miles from Market Rasen with its world famous racecourse, excellent range of restaurants, pubs, shops and market. Horncastle is renowned for its antique shops and is only a short drive, as is the unspoilt Georgian town of Louth with two busy market days a week. A visit to the sandy beaches at Mablethorpe or Skegness are always worth a day out, as is a visit to Lincoln Cathedral and the Bailgate area used in the filming of the ‘Da Vinci Code’. The Saddles (ref 26725) and The Bridles (ref 26718) can interconnect to sleep up to 4+4 people. Shops, pub and restaurant 4 miles.

External stone steps to entrance. All on first floor: Living/dining room/ kitchen with beams and wooden floor. 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet, 1 twin with en-suite shower room and toilet.

Electric woodburner in living room included. Oil central heating included. Travel cot and high chair on request. CD. Shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Fridge/freezer. Large lawned garden with courtyard, sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (2 cars). Cycle store. Welcome pack.

All properties: Electricity, bed linen and towels included. DVD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Dishwasher. Wi-fi. Shared use of landscaped grounds and furniture. Natural water supply from spring. No smoking. NB: Lake, pond and drops in grounds.

  1. Very hospitable host. The flat was lovely. Well furnished with lots of litle extras (Lemon drizzle cake- delicious). Aug 2012.

The property was very clean and comfortable with eggs and cake etc as a welcome pack which was a nice touch.The television is positioned on a high ledge which can affect your comfort when you are trying to watch it, however this is a minor detail and we are hopefully going to make another visit in the near future. April 2012.
  3. I went with my mother who is in her eighties. The owners were considerate, offered to help carry bags up the stairs and the Loft itself was very comfortable. There were lots of special little touches and it’s clear the people who own it want you to enjoy your stay. Our welcome pack included home made cake and freshly laid free range eggs from the farm chickens. There didn’t appear to be any information on the local area though, so make sure you take your own.   4. The Loft was much bigger than we expected and immaculate. It was very quiet despite being located in the middle of a farm. The kitchen had everything you could need including a large fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. The bed linen was luxurious and there were lots of fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. This is a place where we would definitely return and we’ve already recommended to friends. Sept 2011.
  5. Spacious, modern, clean and comfortable accommodation. Located fairly close to two attractive small country towns with a good range of shops/restaurants (esp. Louth). Well located for walking in the Wolds and Lincoln is about 1/2 hour drive away. Walks at Tealby and Walesby recommended. Sept 2011.
  6. This was a lovely property and the other accommodation on the same site looked equally good. Really well finished and furnished, with modern decor and excellent bathroom facilities, which can be lacking in holiday properties. It was a quiet location on a farm but within easy drive of the seaside and other towns and villages of interest. Great local shops and cafes etc. Owner very helpful and friendly. The loft doesn’t take dogs which suited us as despite liking dogs ( we have one at home that we don’t take on holiday), we prefer no pet hairs on furniture and carpets. The other accommodation on this site do allow dogs, and the ones there looked right at home! Aug 2011.
