  4. Beautiful, cosy cottage in a peaceful location. Pretty village with dog friendly pub. Supermarket for main shopping a short drive away, but if you forget anything or don’t wish to drive then there is a little shop in the village. Lots of walks nearby. Would definitely stay there again. May 2011.
  5. It is a picture perfect cottage in a very pretty small village. It’s a great area with lots to see and do from local walks, great pubs and not far from place like hay on why with all it’s book shops. There is so much to do I will definitely be returning. You couldn’t ask for more from the cottage it’s comfortable, cost and pretty everything we wanted. April 2011.
  6. A cosy period property full of character in a stunning location. Eardisland is a very friendly village and an ideal place for touring Herefordshire. Plenty of beautiful houses and gardens to visit, in particular we found Hergest Croft Gardens outstanding, as well as the fabulous trees and plants the food is excellent, especially the cream teas. 9. A beautifully positioned cottage in a lovely rural location. The cottage itself was well maintained and delightfully cosy. The owners were very welcoming and there was ample up-to-date information available to us about the surrounding area. We wished that we had been able to stay longer and have already recommended to friends. We certainly want a return visit. Oct 2010.
  10. It did what it said on the can & more. Location was brilliant. The view over the river arrow was lovely & we were lucky enough to observe a wild otter hunting in the river from the bedroom window. Alistair allowed us to fish from his private bank in the river. Oct 2010.
  11. If you like history then this cottage and the village are for you. We found the quirky floors upstairs a plus to the holiday. There was everything you needed for your stay, the kitchen was well stocked like a home from home kitchen. The owner showed us around the medieval hall that is joined to the cottage, also the grounds of the property were the owner lives, we recommend you ask for a look. We have had at least 15 cottage holidays over the years and this in our opinion was the most relaxed stay, we didnt want to come home. Thank you for having this in your porfolio. Sept 2010.
  12. The situation was excellent, local facilities were good, and it is an interesting period property. Aug 2010.
  13. The age and history made this cottage special. Having your own on-site parking is great. Aug 2010.
  14. Our expectations of the cottage were more than fullfiled! The setting was idilic and peaceful, even though the weather was poor we enjoyed our stay in one of the most beautiful properites we have ever stayed in and as we used to own properties to let ourselves we are very critical! Aug 2010.
  15. The property as a whole was beautifully maintained and had everything that we needed. The garden was beautifully maintained and the owners who live next door were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. June 2010.
  16. The cottage was well equipped and in a lovely location. June 2010.
  17. It was like going back in time. Everything was just perfect. Plan to go back next year. June 2010.
  18. The initial impression is quite stunning as it is a well-maintained centuries-old cottage. May 2010.
  19. It had a lot of charm and character and in such a pretty location. Well equipped and spacious. May 2010.
  20. Arrow Lawn Cottage exceeded our expectations. The location is superb and the cottage itself tastefully and sympathetically furnished to a high standard. It’s hard to do justice to the property in photographs. The view from the bedroom window is probably the best in the county! For anyone looking for peace and quiet in comfortable surroundings I would thoroughly recommend this cottage. April 2010.
