Property Description

Set in the village of Braco, only 10 minutes drive from Gleneagles, this cosy terraced holiday cottage has a pleasant outlook and lovely enclosed garden. Centrally located for discovering this varied region, there is much to enjoy with good walks from the doorstep, Auchingarroch Wildlife Park, and historic Dunblane, or further afield, the dramatic scenery of the Trossachs, watersports on Loch Tay, and Edinburgh and Glasgow within an hour’s drive. Stirling, 12 miles, has a spectacular and ancient castle and wide choice of shopping and leisure activities. Two mountain bikes and fishing rods are available by arrangement. Shops and pub 100 yards.

This property is close to Gleneagles where the 2014 Ryder Cup took place, come and play a round of golf all year round on this world-renowned course.

Ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. Steep stairs to first floor: 1 double bedroom with additional Z-bed (for child).

Open fire in living room included. Solid fuel central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot. Video. DVD. CD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Fridge/freezer. Enclosed garden with sitting-out area and furniture. No smoking.

  1. The cottage was in a quite area perfect for dog walking but also very close to Stirling for historic buildings and also shops. The cottage was perfect for me - single with two large dogs - but also be great for a couple. Not for anymore than that even if was a small child. Everything I could possibly need was there and with the owners only next door, if there had been any issues they would have been able to attend to immediately. Having said that did not even see them. Sept 2012.

  3. Cottage was small and cosy. People in village very friendly. Only downside no village pub. You can take your dog into pub in Dunblane "TAPPIT HEN" across from cathedral - very friendly. However this is nothing to do with cottage but think when dog friendly cottages should maybe have this info it would be most helpful. The people who own cottage live next door - very helpful and friendly. The coal fire really is a bonus and bed lovely and comfy. Great value for money and hope to return. March 2011.

  12. Weather in January is excellent if you like the cold and snow! The cottage is lovely and homely with a cosy coal fire which is ready laid on arrival and a bag of coal was left outside the back door when the weather was bad! Owners are lovely and provide extra details like fresh flowers, biscuits, hot drinks etc. A superb central location for touring and sight-seeing without being over-populated. Jan 2009.
  13. Beautiful property in excellent location - very quiet neighbours being opposite a graveyard! Owners on-hand if questions needed answered. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits & also fresh flowers - added a homely touch. Very cosy cottage and I had forgotten how warm and comforting a coal fire is. Really enjoyed our weeks break and will most definitely return to this cottage and will recommend it to friends and family. Lots of lovely walks for the dogs too. March 2009.
