  2. This was our 2nd visit as a family, me, my son and family, and we found the cottage even better than we remembeedr. The fireplace is absolutely lovely and we enjoyed it after long walks on the beach, and in the evening playing some of the games available. You rightly caution on the steep staircase and low beams. The location’s great & the house itself is deceptively spacious, has loads of character, is clean & provided us with everything we needed. Also an added bonus was that we were able to rent it just for the weekend rather than the whole week. Overall a amazing breakaway in a lovely place. Will definitely go back there. March 2012.
  4. We booked this cottage for the same weekend last year and our comments made then still apply. What we really liked was the fact that the original cottage with open fire and antique furniture creates a great atmosphere while the newer extensions house the modern kitchen and TV room. We brought our own logs each time but it would be really helpful for others if there was an option to pay for an initial supply of logs or pre-order a delivery of logs. Feb 2012.

  6. The overall ambiance was really good. The seperate TV room was a benefit and we all loved the open fire. To make it even better the fireside chair could be replaced. The property was larger than we expected and the kitchen better than the impression given by the photograph. Feb 2011.
