Property Description

These lodge-style holiday homes (refs W42524 & W42659), set on a small touring site, provide bright and comfortable detached accommodation very close to the beautiful north coast of Cornwall. Ideally situated to enjoy all that this area has to offer, including the South West Coastal Path to the sandy bays which are ideal for walkers and surfers, or for those enjoying a family day on the beach. Close by is the coastal resort of Padstow with its shops, pubs and restaurants including Ricks Stein’s fish restaurant. Also within easy reach are the coastal villages of Port Isaac and Boscastle, 20 miles. There are several beautiful bays a few miles away including Porthcothan and Harlyn Sands to name a couple. Newquay is just down the coast and offers shops, pubs and restaurants as well as the sealife centre, zoo and the famous surfing beach at Fistral. Shops and restaurant 2 miles, pub 3 miles.

Four steps to entrance. All on ground floor: Living/dining room with French doors. Kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin (2ft 6in for child). Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot. High chair. Satellite TV. Gas hob. Electric oven. Washer/dryer. Dishwasher. Fridge/freezer. Wi-fi. Lawned garden with decked area andfurniture. Parking (2 cars). No smoking.

It was difficult to find any problems with this holiday.The accommodation was superb with all the amenities you could ever want.The surroundings were fantastic and the area unbeatable.We have never enjoyed a UK holiday more. The lodge was outstanding, we had every conceivable amenity, even a dishwasher (not called Jack) .I particularly liked the skylight in the double bedroom as we could watch the stars on a clear night. We were in a very quiet area not overlooked by anyone, other than the resident pheasant and partridges. The nearest amenities were in St. Merryn. We got petrol at Wadebridge,cheapest in area, but cheaper at Morrisons in Bodmin.We can recommend eating out at The Merry Moor Inn, St Morgan Porth also The Tredrea Inn,Porthcothan and The Halfway House(A39 towards Wadebridge)Location ideally suited for us to visit Eden Project, Port Isaac, Boscastle,Padstow and to walk the C2C from Portreath-Devoran(only 12 miles).
