There is a picturesque harbour and historic fort to explore nearby, and golf, fishing, riding and various watersports are all available locally. This area boasts many interesting attractions including the Hook Lighthouse, Tintern Abbey, the Dunbrody Famine Ship and both the J.F.K Arboretum and Kilmakee Gardens.

A visit to Waterford Crystal via the Ballyhack Ferry is highly recommended. Shop, pub and restaurant 150 yards.

  4. The accommodation was very close to the beach and had stunning views over the estuary. As were were not on the ground floor, no persons were able to look in but our view was not compromised. The rooms were well sized and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was practical and the use of a washing machine was invaluable especially with 2 young children! May 2010.

  15. First rate property. Excellent view over the bay. Local food supplied in the pubs was of good quality. The location of the apartment is well placed for sight seeing in the Hook Peninsular or further afield. Would book the apartment again. Highly recommended. Sept 2007.
