Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. This was the perfect getaway for a tired mummy & daddy! We went on a lovely 4 mile walk close to the cottage, had an excellent Chinese takeaway from nearby Harleston, ate and slept when we wanted to and thoroughly enjoyed our time away. Am booking again within 6 months for sure. Nov 2012.
  2. A lovely old converted barn - very comfortable and real character! we had a great 5 days away even though the weather was lousy. Would definitely recommend this to others. April 2012.
  3. The barn conversion is finished to a high standard and furnished with attention to detail and comfort, although it was as on the pictures it still exceeded our expectations and we were thrilled with our stay there. It is situated close to the main house but is very private, absolutely perfect for our romantic stay. We would love to return and have already recommended to our friends. March 2012.
  4. Lovely location on farm with sights of chickens and horses. Close to owner’s property but most windows face away and it feels very secluded. Lovely space with books and leaflets of local things to do. Underfloor heating is amazing. Feb 2012.
  5. The accommodation was fantastic and the location is fab. The couple who own it were really friendly and there was tea/coffee/milk and some food bits there for us (chocolates!) and toiletries too in case you forget them! The cottage is lovely inside and we had a lovely time there. Would definitely go back. Jan 2012.
  6. Fantastic relaxing short break within a beautifully restored, cosy barn conversion! The location is great and owners very friendly. Would highly reccomend! Jan 2012.
  7. Lovely barn cottage with great facilities and a generally cosy atmosphere. Clean and comfortable. It’s worth asking the owners next door for advice on how to get to the shops and restaurant (15 minute walk)if you get a chance as he was really friendly. Dec 2011.
  8. Beautiful setting, lovely and cosy. pity the weather let the weekend down. Nov 2011.
  9. The little barn has been done up beautifully. Although located quite close to the owners house, they leave you completely alone, and the barn has a little picket fence around a piece of garden for it. We loved the big squashy corner sofa and thick wooden dining table. The heated flooring was a cosy bonus too. Overall it was a perfect little snug for a romantic weekend. Oct 2011.
  10. A lovely weekend retreat, would return again, especially in the spring or summer when the days are longer. Nov 2011.
  11. The barn was in the middle of nowhere yet next to the farmhouse which meant it felt safe but beautifully isolated! The whole barn was fitted out to an excellent standard with furniture of a quality not expected in a ’holiday home’, The kitchen was well fitted and the little extras were a delightful treat ( tea/coffee/milk/biscuits and chocolates!)There was even washing up liquid and cleaning products ! The barn was warm and the heating good. Both the interior and exterior look exactly like they do in the photos. My daughter and I had the most relaxing weekend only venturing out for a walk around the local countryside, where there are many public footpaths across the fields and a beautiful church. I would highly recommend Anthill Barn for anyone looking for a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings. Oct 2011.
  12. Excellent location, perfect for travelling the area. Quiet, secluded property with just the right atmosphere for either a romantic short break, or a cosy longer stay. Sept 2011.
  13. Excellent location for away from it all, cycling & walking around the area. July 2011.
  14. Very cosy. Nov 2010.
  15. Everything we were looking for and more! Oct 2010.
  16. Very out of the way and clean. Oct 2010.
  17. Lovely barn conversion looks just the photo’s. Aug 2010.
  18. Nice conversion of old farm building. June 2010.
  19. Anthill Barn Cottage is a beautiful barn conversion which has been excellently done. All amenities were of a very high standard, excellent shower, kitchen was a joy to cook in. June 2010.
  20. Top quality accommodation, very warm and cosy. The owner was very accommodating as we arrived late and she was very good about it. Superb views and quiet area. May 2010.
