1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

Conveniently located for both city centre and for access to the golf courses and beaches of East Lothian, this traditional, stone built holiday cottage is in a quiet residential area with easy access to the A1, and just 15 minutes walk to Arthur’s Seat and Duddingston Village. Spacious and bright, it has a large enclosed, grassed garden, ideal for relaxing after a day enjoying the city sights. Easy bus route to the centre, for shopping, Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace. Shop 800 yards, pub 1/2 mile.

All on ground floor: Living room. Dining room. Kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft), 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Gas central heating included (£50per week October-April). Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Freeview TV. DVD. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Freezer. Enclosed sitting-out area with furniture. No smoking. Friday to Friday.

  1. Very enjoyable week in a comfortable and cosy bungalow. Very handy for bus into the city centre and close to Potobello beach. Worth visiting Royal Yacht Britannia at Leith. £11 admission but takes a good 3 to 4 hours to see it all so a handy visit when weather is not too good. Plenty of interesting real ale pubs in Edinburgh to explore. We’ll be visiting again next year to explore further. Oct 2012.

  3. Situated in an excellent position for everything we wanted to do. This was our 3rd stay at Angus Vale and a neighbour opposite was extremely nice and helpful. We will most likely stay again next year as everything, (shops, pubs and city etc) was not to far away. May 2012.
  4. This holiday home is one of the nicest I have ever stayed in. It is very clean, spacious, fully equipped, and overall a lovely holiday home. The welcome tray in the Kitchen when we arrived was very much appreciated after a long journey. The location is ideal - easy access to Arthurs Seat and an extremely cheap, reliable and easy bus route to the City Centre. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you. Nov 2011.
