The detached farmhouse has a charm of its own, having been skilfully renovated with excellent furnishings and fittings ensuring a very comfortable holiday stay.

The area offers a peaceful retreat for anyone, yet still within 16 miles of the historic town of Kenmare. Local attractions include numerous scenic drives, horse riding and golf at Glengarriff, 18 miles, and swimming at the local pier 3 miles. Killarney is 37 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 4 miles.

Ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. Utility room. Bathroom with toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Shower room with toilet.

Open fire in living room and woodburner in dining room (initial fuel included). Oil central heating and electricity by meter reading. Gas (€7per week). Bed linen and towels included. Cot. High chair. Video. DVD. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Outdoor furniture. Parking (2 cars).

  10. The photos on the website really don’t do this property any justice. The property was in excellent condition and very comfortable. The owner went above and beyond to help us and provided us with a wealth of information on the property as well as talking and walking through what we needed to do.   20. The location is fabulous, it is located next door (200 yards) from the owners farm house and yes it is in a remote location, with the pub 1 mile away, and the nearest shop 2 miles away. The photo’s on the website do not do the location justice on a clear day. Also a great place to take your dog as the garden is all enclosed. Would definitely return to this property. Feb 2009.
