There is an abundance of walking and cycling paths, with bicycle hire available locally. Horse riding and trekking are also on offer, with salmon and trout fishing in the lochs and rivers. Callander Golf Club is just 200 metres away and offers fee reductions for holiday makers. The cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling are all easily accessible, offering castles, museums and art galleries, theatres and concert halls, the Wallace Monument, designer shopping and restaurants. Loch Lomond, with its golf course, water sports, aquarium and designer shopping, is within easy reach. Shops, pubs and restaurants ¼ mile.

This property is close to Gleneagles where the 2014 Ryder Cup took place, come and play a round of golf all year round on this world-renowned course.

  7. Excelllent location in Callander, The flat was vey well appointed and the owners were there to meet us and give us a guded tour plus a complimentary bottle of wine! Nice little extras like shampoo , conditioner, tea, coffee etc all added to the very enjoyable stay. Oct 2010.
  8. Why do people go to the U S A and Canada to see the fall. This property enables you to visit many places here at home, the apartment is great with views over the town to the hills all around. Calandar is lovely. Oct 2010.

  12. Ideally located on a quiet street just 2 minutes walk from the Main Street and town centre. Apartment was very clean and tidy. Owner was able to provide child safety gates, socket covers, highchair and cot. I would recommend this to both young families and couples looking for a base to explore the beautiful countryside.
