  1. Very warm welcome upon arrival. Comfortable and great location for the village itself and surrounding sites and villages. Oct 2012.
  2. We flew to Ireland from JFK. We spent two nights in Dublin before driving to Anascaul. While Dublin was interesting we truly felt immersed in the Irish way of life in Anascaul. The property was in excellent shape in a beautiful area of Ireland. We arrived at midnight because of car trouble and Mrs. McCarthy had kindly stayed up and made scones for us. We had breakfast outside in the morning and the yard and mountains beyond are gorgeous to look at. This is a very peaceful setting. the Dingle peninsula is beautiful. June 2012.
