The Burren and North Clare, the magical Aran Islands and the popular towns of Clifden and Westport are some of the many day trips. Shop and pub 1 mile, restaurant 3 miles.

The property provides very comfortable accommodation and stunning views, whilst giving you also access to exercise via the private tennis court. What more could you ask for. We loved it. Local restaurants and bars were friendly with impromptu Irish music. All set in beautiful coutryside. A very magical place. Aug 2011.

  4. The house is in a beautifully scenic quiet spot, but close enough to the main road and shops for convenience. The thatch, stonework and furniture created a lovely comfortable warm atmosphere, and the views out the many windows were beautiful, overlooking the lovely landscaped gardens,and the sea. The house exuded great taste and comfort. It really was a hidden gem. The tennis court was used a lot in the warm weather as was the outdoor stone dining area with fantastic views over to the sea. Rain kept us indoors for a few days and we lit fires in the huge stone fireplace. All fuel was provided by the owner and there were bookcases full of books which we were able to use. It is a beautiful house where you could do very little for a long time, a perfect base for touring the area or for complete relaxation. July 2011.

If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
