Property Description

This detached holiday cottage is set within 4 acres of grounds adjacent to the owner’s home, with its own small private garden and views of Pen y Fan and the Brecon Beacons. Available within the grounds is a 2-acre enclosed dog exercise field where guests may run their dogs off the lead. Salmon and trout fishing is available on the River Towy nearby. The National Botanical Gardens, the beach and castle at Llansteffan are just a short drive. Enjoy the beaches at Tenby, Saundersfoot and the Gower coast, Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The market towns of Brecon, Llandovery and Llandeilo are within easy driving. Shops 1 mile, pub 1½ miles.

1 double, 1 bunk. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Oil central heating included (£15per week, £10 per short break November-March). Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Satellite TV. DVD and small library. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washer/dryer. Fridge/freezer. Wi-fi. Small enclosed garden with sitting-out area and furniture. Barbecue. Ample parking. Cycle store. Welcome pack. No smoking. NB: Pond in grounds.

  6. A lovely clean, cosy cottage with everything you need for a base to explore the area. The owners are very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay if you have a dog and love walking. Good local pub food (The Red Lion 3 course lunch and The plough) are well worth a visit. A visit to the Red Kite feeding centre is also worth a trip. May 2011.
  7. My hosts, Keith & Ysanne could not have been more friendly or helpful. The property was spotless and very comfortable. The area is lovely with outstanding scenery and walks on the doorstep. A lovely welcome by the owner with homemade scones.
