With excellent views and being about 110 yards from the beach, this detached ex-crofters holiday cottage, is traditionally furnished, well equipped, and enjoys lovely sea views. It has a contemporary kitchen and stylish bathroom, with laminate flooring to the living room and inner hall. Fiskavaig Bay offers views of Loch Bracadale, Oronsay Isle and MacLeods Tables. Skye has spectacular scenery and wildlife (eagles, otters, seals, and deer have all been seen by the cottage). Talisker Distillery, Glenbrittle and The Cuillins are all within easy reach. Touring options include coral beaches, lighthouses, castles, waterfalls, fairy pools, storm beaches and sea stacks. Cycling, fishing, bird spotting, kayaking, sailing, horse riding, walking, rambling and climbing are all possible, as are boat trips. PO. 4.5 miles. Shop 4.5 miles, pub with food 1.5 miles.

2 steps to entrance. All on ground floor: Living room with double sofa bed/dining area. Kitchen with breakfast bar. 2 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft), 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Open fire in living room (initial fuel included). Electric heaters and electricity by meter reading. Bed linen included. Cot. High chair. Freesat HD TV. DVD. Stereo/CD. Ceramic hob. Electric oven.   1. This cottage is fantastic and couldn’t be better positioned next to a fab beach with sand and rock pools. The cottage is clean and has all the facilities you could need, the pictures on the website, although good, do not do it justice. The area is also great there is loads of wild life and a buzzard flying over head. All in all we would recommend this cottage. June 2012.

  3. Beautiful cottage in a fantastic setting close to Fiskavaig bay with views of the bay from the window and garden. Excellent walking clsoe by or a short drive away. Would recommend this cottage and Isle of Skye to friends and family. Saw loads of wildlife and had fun watching seals and an otter at dusk. Relaxed place with the cottage warm and relaxing place at the end of the day to return home to. Only issue is would benefit from an axe to chop firewood! Oct 2011.
  4. We loved the beach and did not realise how close we were to the sea. There were plenty of walks which we were unable to enjoy during the winter weather - highly recommend to stay when there is good weather. Oct 2011.

  7. It’s such a fabby location and the house is always spotless. We do bring a lot of bits and pieces from home but on the whole the house is a real home from home. May 2011.
  8. Lovely cottage in a lovely peaceful location. Very clean, and would go back. Recommend the local small hotel for food just 10-15 mins walk up the road, good selection of drinks at the bar and a friendly atmosphere. April 2011.
  9. Cottage really good and amenities excellent - a true home from home nice cosy fire waiting on us on our arrival. First visit to Skye and really enjoyed it - scenery excellent. Went to coral beach - a must see visit. The light house was good for wild life but needed oxygen after the climb back up the stairs. Everyone we met in Skye very friendly and welcoming. March 2011.

  12. Cosy, well-maintained cottage, plenty of books and games in case of poor weather. The bay it sits on is pretty and the beach interesting, although the cottage is quite low down the hill so you have to walk up the road a bit to get the best view of the bay. I guess this is reflected in the price. The housekeeper left tea, coffee and biscuits. July 2010.
