Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. Wonderful location with stunning sea and mountain views. Ever changing beautiful West Coast light as you look out of the picture windows in all the rooms. The house is well equipped and comfortable and the owner extremely helpful and thoughtful. Nov 2012.
  2. Great house and location is fantastic. Near to shops and restaurants. Oct 2012.
  3. This property is very comfortable and pleasant in every way and has OUTSTANDING views across the way to the Torridon mountains beyond. If you get the weather (we did) its hard to beat. June 2012.
  4. We had a lovely stay enjoying the peace, tranquillity and the dramatic surrounding countryside. The cottage is very well equipped, we found everything we could possibly need and some extra luxuries. We particularly enjoyed the views and the real fire for a cosy stay in wild weather. The cottage was immaculately clean and well heated even without the fire which is vital in February. We did plenty of reading and some great local walks. We particularly enjoyed the local links to the battle of the Atlantic at Loch Ewe: an unexpected history lesson. We come to the west of Scotland in February every year and try a slightly different area each time. I would recommend this cottage for a quiet stay at this time of year but there were a few caravan sites which would put us off later in the year as the village would be much busier (however there might be more restaurants actually open.) The weather is usually dry but cold but we did have a fair bit of rain this year. We can recommend the local pubs for food (but none were open within easy walking distance) and a trip to Applecross is a must for a special lunch and amazing scenery. Feb 2012.
  5. Great house in a fantastic location... too good for words!! March 2012.
  6. We have visited this property several times and will always like to go back, as even on bad weather days the views from the property are breathtaking. March 2012.
  7. This is a wonderful house with everything you can ask for. Local restaurants have a great choice of food and the shops are well stocked. The house has fantastic views and has great access to everything locally. Oct 2011.
  8. Property has good sized rooms and spacious. Well equipped kitchen, view from all the rooms changes every two minutes as the weather passes through. Good selection of restaurants in close proximity. Golf course is a hidden gem. We were there in October so no midges! Oct 2011.
  9. Our third stay in this property - which says it all. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and with an amazing view. Oct 2011.
  10. Fantastic location with stunning scenery. A great place to stay. Sept 2011.
  11. Very clean, comfy and cosy cottage with spectacular views across Gairloch and around to the Isle of Skye. We spent two glorious weeks here and didn’t want to leave. Top marks to the owner for providing this well kept cottage in a magnificent setting. July 2011.
  12. This property is in a fantastic location with unspoilt views of Gairloch bay, Torridon mountains and Isle of Skye. The owner has provided everything you will require during your stay, with no necessity to take any kitchen equipment or cleaning materials that are sometimes needed. Just turn up and enjoy. June 2011.
  13. Excellent cottage, very comfortable, well laid out, clean & well maintained. Superb views/situation and very easy walk to local shops etc. Angie (the owner) helpful. April 2011.
  14. Excellent position with all bedrooms facing the loch. Clean and modern throughout but still with character. Warm and comfortable with everything you could need for a holiday, even with, as in our case, a small child. Oct 2010.
  15. Tremendous views from all rooms, peaceful, warm & cosy. July 2010.
  16. Wonderful situation & views. Spotlessly clean. Very well equipped. Homely without being fussily furnished. May 2010.
  17. The property is beautifully presented. The furnishings, kitchen equipment etc. are of a very high standard. The setting is beautiful and the welcome wine and shortbread were much appreciated. May 2010.
  18. Fully equipped, everything in order, local information on coffee table, nice welcoming touches by the owner (mini-easter eggs, flowers), clean and tidy - everything just right - and what a view! April 2010.
  19. As usual the bedroom was very clean with excellent bed linen and a good quality bed. March 2010.
  20. I would have been happy living here! Feb 2010.
