1. These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions
2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 13th April 2014.
3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
4. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
5. The difference between the £25 low  deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

Peaceful and ideal base for touring

This spacious semi-detached holiday cottage is attached to the farmhouse on a small working farm and livery yard on the edge of the village of Potterne. It is situated on a peaceful bridleway with a private patio. Behind the cottage is a ¼ acre playing and seating area with glorious views towards Salisbury Plain. Visit Stonehenge, Avebury and the lovely National Trust village of Lacock, all only 20 minutes away or Longleat, Bath and Salisbury within ½ an hour. The New Forest, The Cotswolds and Glastonbury are approx 1 hour’s drive. Village shop ¾ mile, post office and pub ½ mile.

Ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. 1 single bedroom. First floor: 2 double bedrooms. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Oil central heating included (£25per week, £15 per short break October-March). Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot. Video. DVD. Stereo/CD. Microwave. Washing machine. Fridge/freezer. Shared garden. Patio and furniture. Ample parking. No smoking. NB: There is a small covered ornamental pond and a walled drop from the field to the garden.

  4. The property is very well placed for many attrractions within easy driving distance. The ideal way to enjoy this venue would be to decide to make as many walks as possible, leaving the trusty car behind for the day. Sunsets during August are particularly beautiful, especially with some slight cloud cover, ideal for the amateur photograher. The hosts were particulalry helpful in offering guidance to places to see. So pack your bags and head towards this part of the world. Aug 2011.
  5. It’s simply set out and has all that you need, with beautiful surroundings. You can go and sit in their field and watch the sun set. It’s also big enough for kids to play games in and get rid of some energy. Aug 2010.
  6. An extremely warm welcome, we had the feeling we were not just some tourists in England, but real guests. I can also recommend this for everyone with children, as the cottage and the very large garden are very convenient and safe. This was by far the best cottage we had in England. May 2010.
