Property Description

Set within Exmoor National Park in Lorna Doone country, this three-storey Victorian town house, adjoining other properties, is the ideal holiday base for walking, horse riding, fishing, shooting, bird-watching or just unwinding. Dulverton is one of the prettiest, least spoilt and most photographed market towns in the area and boasts a range of unique shops and restaurants. The moor is a ten-minute drive and the award-winning beaches of Dunster and Minehead are twelve miles away. There is an abundance of National Trust houses and gardens, and Wimbleball Lake, Dunster Castle, Somerset Railway and Exeter Cathedral are all local attractions. Shops 25 yards.

  1. Dulverton is a beautiful place, appropriate to visit the park and surrounding areas, though a little further out if you widen the circle of places to visit as it is within a half hour of the highway roads. On the page it had wi-fi, but there was none. Sept 2012.
  2. A very comfortable and well-appointed house in a fantastic location, with everything you need on your doorstep. The patio is quite small, but as the weather wasn’t too good, we only managed to sit out there once. Dulverton is a lovely little town with some great pubs and shops, and people were very friendly. Aug 2011.
  3. Dulverton proved an excellent base for our break with pubs, shops and restaurants. Bank Square is smack in the heart of the town so we were a short walk from all these amenities. The house is cosy (in a sense that it feels homely). We would gladly stay there again. June 2011.
  4. We were lucky enough to be there when a hunt was taking place so we were in a great position to see the riders getting ready with lots of food and wine...March 2011.

  7. A nice house well located for local ameneties, shops , pubs etc. The property was well laid out with a good standard of furnishing and generally most of the equipment, furnishings etc were in ok condition... July 2010.
  8. Lovely old 3 story house right in the centre of the village. Spotlessly clean. Everything provided that we could possibly need, including milk, fresh fruit, a friendly note from the caretaker and a bottle of wine! Comfortable bed in large master bedroom with ultra modern en suite. It all exceeded our expectations and we would definitely book this property again. July 2010.

If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately..
